Anfa Esports made its first public appearance at the INWI Gaming Fest in 2019, stepping into the Moroccan competitive gaming arena with a Fortnite roster full of potential. This was our spark — the first proof that Moroccan players deserved a serious platform to grow, compete, and shine.

Later in 2019, Anfa Esports shifted momentum into EA Sports’ Pro Clubs mode. From underground matches to national attention, our squad quickly became a force — bringing new tactics, teamwork, and visibility to a game mode that had been overlooked. This was the birth of the “Anfa identity” in virtual football..
FIRST EVENT
Early 2020 saw our first official tournament: ANFACUP, hosted in partnership with Versus Arena. With 128 players battling online and the top 16 qualifying for a final showdown IRL, this event set the tone for what Anfa stood for — competition, community, and celebration. It wasn’t just a cup — it was a statement.
FIRST TITLE
In a historic collaboration, Anfa represented Raja Casablanca in a fully Moroccan-themed Pro Clubs league. The result? Our first championship title — a symbolic moment that solidified Anfa’s place in Moroccan esports. This wasn’t just a win for the team — it was a win for a movement.
Into the World Stage
Following our national title win, Anfa Esports earned a spot in the prestigious World Champions League. Representing Morocco under the iconic Raja Casablanca jersey, we faced top clubs from around the globe — marking our first step onto the international stage. It was a proud moment not only for Anfa, but for Moroccan esports as a whole.
OFFICIAL KIT RELEASE
Innovation met culture when Anfa Esports partnered with Olympz Sportswear to release Morocco and Africa’s first professionally designed esports jersey. Our kit wasn’t just merch — it was a symbol of professionalism, pride, and pioneering spirit. A jersey that connected players, fans, and identity.
1 VS 1 ROSTER PRESENTATION
Later that year, Anfa stepped confidently into EAFC with the unveiling of its first official FIFA roster. These three players became the core of our competitive future, launching our transition from community-focused to professionally structured esports. From virtual stadiums to national rankings — the game was on.
First Anniversary
On August 24th, 2020, we celebrated Anfa Esports' first birthday — a symbolic milestone reflecting a year of passion, ambition, and achievement. What began as a bold vision was now a growing legacy, fueled by the community and the players who shaped it.
FIFAE CLUB WORLD CUP
In a major breakthrough, Anfa Esports was officially recognized by FIFA.GG, the global platform responsible for official FIFA FUT competitions. This status granted us eligibility for global tournaments and marked the beginning of our international journey. Our first major stop? The Club World Cup Qualifiers in December — proudly representing Morocco on a bigger stage.
FIRST AFRICAN TITLE
Anfa Esports made history by winning its first African title, becoming champions of the CAF Confederation Cup after an outstanding run. Scoring 18 goals and conceding only 5, the team dominated opponents from Senegal and South Africa before defeating Tunisian side Forsan Hannibal in a memorable Maghreb final.
This victory was more than a trophy — it was a statement of intent. Discipline, commitment, and resilience defined the campaign, proving that Anfa’s lions were built for greatness.
AFRICAN DOMINANCE
ust months after their CAF Confederation Cup triumph, Anfa Esports confirmed its place at the top of the continent by winning the 2021 African Super Cup. Facing the champions of another major African competition, our squad rose to the occasion and delivered a dominant performance to secure back-to-back continental titles.
It was official — Anfa ruled African esports.
MOROCCAN CUP WINNERS
The lions roared once again, claiming the Moroccan Throne Cup after a powerful performance that marked their first domestic title of the year.
This victory wasn’t just a trophy — it signaled the beginning of a new era for Anfa Esports, one defined by consistency, ambition, and national pride.
ARABIAN NIGHTS
Anfa Esports continued its golden journey by conquering the Arabic Super League, showcasing tactical excellence and a united team spirit.
Nicknamed “Arabian Nights” by the community, this triumph was more than a title — it was a celebration of North African pride across the Arab world.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY FOR THE CONSTITUTION OF ANFA ESPORTS ASSOCIATION 2025
In 2025, Anfa Esports took a monumental step forward with the General Assembly for the official constitution of the Anfa Esports Association.
This foundational event marked the formal establishment of the organization as a recognized entity, setting the stage for structured growth, community engagement, and professional development in Moroccan esports.
